Why Paraguay??? At first it was just an idea. Through my travels to Paraguay I was able to get to know this great country and its people and unfortunately also the hardship. Since I work in a medical field myself, a lot of things affected me a lot and made me think a lot. A lot of things are disposed of here that are desperately needed there. An idea has now become a heartfelt project.
In Paraguay, being a child, a woman, indigenous, disabled, or old almost automatically means belonging to a disadvantaged population group. We take wheelchairs, hearing aids and glasses for granted, but for many people in Paraguay they are often unattainable luxury goods. In the so-called “Centros de Salud” in mostly rural areas, there is a doctor or nurse perhaps once a week. On site, however, there is usually a lack of simple items such as disposable syringes and cannulas, bandages or disposable gloves.
Finally the time had come, we started in Erbach.
This day was a complete success and true to our motto "Together we can make a difference"

At first it was just an idea from our team member Ulrich. But then the idea quickly became “We’ll do that” and fulfill Stephan’s big dream of experiencing a football game live in the stadium.
Thanks to the great collaboration with the 98er Lilien and the heartfelt desire of Mobil from the DRK - Kreisverband Odenwaldkreis eV, we, and especially Stephan, had an unforgettable experience

Further support needed - visiting alpacas in care facilities
The relationship between humans and animals has existed since the beginning of humanity. Across all cultures, animals have not only been a source of food or farm animals, but also valued companions (e.g. dogs or cats). Animals have been used in social and therapeutic areas for many years. Especially for children, adults or older people with mental or behavioral problems, special needs and at the end of life.
In this context, we would like to send specially trained animals such as dogs, alpacas, etc. to hospices, children's homes and care facilities in 2024
